Ox Hill Boys and Girls Club

Burke-Fairfax is thrilled to partner with the Ox Hill Boys and Girls Club starting in the 2020β2021 program year. Ox Hill is doing important work in the Burke/Chantilly area of Northern Virginia. The Club was established in 2018 as a safe space for children to gather after school; it also provides homework assistance, special guest speakers, mentoring services, and more.
When schools closed in March 2020 due to the pandemic Ox Hill found new ways to serve the community, maintaining a lifeline for families in the area. The Club has worked with a local church and Fairfax County Public Schools to update offerings and protocols so it can continue to fulfill its mission.
Chapter engagement with the Ox Hill Boys and Girls Club is two-fold:
1. Participating in service activities
2. Raising money to support operations.
