Uche Wosu-Isirimah, MD (2019)

Mother Uche has been a member of the Burke Fairfax Chapter of Jack and Jill since 2016. She has played an active role as Chair of our signature Black History Form Program during the 2018-19 and 2019-20 program years and currently serves as Corresponding Secretary and Protocol Chair.  She has engaged our children in 5-star programming such as coordinating a trip to Lancaster, PA to learn about the Amish way of life and to see a Sight and Sound original production.

As a mother of two children in the Intermediate Grade Group, she is still able to remain active in her community as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.  Her professional life keeps her busy as a Facility Medical Director for Medstar Health, author of Straight Talk From the Doctor, owner of Brighthope Homecare, a Nothern VA based home care agency, and a physician expert for MedCraze, LLC.

She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children cheering on the sidelines at soccer games and traveling around the world.  Her passion includes all things health and wellness and you can find her speaking on topics of living healthy and aging gracefully in place.
